We hope that those in the Florida coast are safe tonight as hurricanes are forecasted to hit the coast. Some people are seeing clouds roll in in different parts of the country and wonder if a hurricane like wave may see market prices plummet. First, nothing is ever the same everywhere at the same time. So, if it were us, we would look at the local activity to better ascertain what is happening in our area of interest. Secondly, there are market forces that are stirring clouds of economic concern, like the World Bank cutting China’s growth forecast.
We live in a connected world, especially with China, who has their fingers in almost everything right now. So, if the USA or China suffer large economic swings in banking, real estate, or other financial sectors, then the rest of the world is likely to feel the affects in one level or another. All we can do is to tell you that we are carefully monitoring available cash flow in our transactions and sticking to hard assets (no surprise there). it is up to you to decide what is best for you, but there are some other questionable clouds also on the horizon. We have been informed that a newly enacted USA policy will usher in an official US crypto dollar in December. If that is the case, we will have to see what the government does to introduce and qualify its use in the national and global economies, but it does give pause for some degree of cautious posture in our minds.
What we know, is that you focus on what you can control and let God manage the rest, because, hey, what can yo udo about it anyway? Worrying about things you can’t control is like paying for bills that are not yours. Lastly, markets correct. They go up and they go down. The great thing in our capitalistic society (as long as it holds), is that we can adjust, pivot, and profit from the change when we are prepared. What do you think?
We can not and do not provide tax, accounting ,financial, legal, nor investment advice.
